Katherine Dillon - Director

Katherine started the Seeds of Change 10 years ago with her business partner Rachael Frossell. A trained counsellor and exceptionally experienced coach, Katherine pioneered the development of our specialist coaching techniques and programmes using the equine facilitated approach. EAGALA trained, Katherine works with our high tariff young people using equine therapy to address their mental health and human development needs. Katherine is extremely passionate about inspiring the young people and adults who come through our doors to make a difference to their lives.

Rachael Frossell - Director

Rachael is Co-Director at the Seeds of Change, working in partnership with Katherine to manage the business and quality elements of the company. With many years' experience in the corporate sector, Rachael has been instrumental in driving the company towards a steady growth over the last 10 years. Responsible for managing the smooth running of the company, Rachael oversees the quality management, finance, marketing and business development. Through working with schools and local authorities, Rachael has secured numerous contracts to enable more young people to access our provision.

   Jenny Chambers - Head of Marketing and Administration

Jenny oversees the smooth running of the office administration and quality standards, ensuring that our quality assurance systems and delivery goals are met, and our high standards are maintained throughout all our courses. She is the City & Guilds Centre Quality Contact overseeing all qualifications, and the Land Based Internal Quality Assessor. Coming from a sales and marketing background, Jenny is responsible for our marketing, maintaining our web site, and for researching and tendering for government funding opportunities, securing contracts in the South East.

Gill Burt - Leadership Coach

Gill is an energetic and inspirational coach and facilitator with over 15 years' experience in learning and development. A Myers Briggs Practitioner and a Master Practitioner in NLP, Time Line Therapy and Hypnotherapy, Gill is passionate about delivering focussed and progressive coaching and facilitation solutions to develop teams and individuals to realise their full potential. Her qualifications include the HumanTechnics Advanced Certificate in Executive Coaching, and the ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring.

Lindsay Taylor – City & Guilds IQA (Employability Skills & Functional Skills) and OTL Assessor

Lindsay has a wealth of knowledge in the primary and secondary education sector after many years of teaching PE both in the UK and overseas. Lindsay ensures that high standards of education are met; raising the quality of teaching and learning across our provision which helps improve the outcomes for our young people. Lindsay is the City & Guilds Internal Quality Assessor for the Employability Skills and Functional Skills qualifications, ensuring our high standards are maintained throughout.

  Amy Norton - Senior Coach

Amy is a highly experienced and effective equine coach. A registered City & Guilds coach and assessor, Amy specialises in re-engagement and City and Guilds group programmes, along with developing and writing our City & Guilds course material. Amy has extensive experience in working with young people with emotional and behavioural issues and is highly effective in supporting them to develop strategies to manage challenging situations using the EFL approach. Amy holds a BSc Hons in Equine and Estate Studies, and in her spare time she is an assistant guide leader.

Charlie Morgan - Coach and Business Development

Charlie has a wealth of experience working with KS1/2 children, supporting and inspiring them to overcome barriers in their lives to excel and achieve their full potential. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead and registered City & Guilds coach and assessor, Charlie is an experienced coach who is a Rickter Scale Practitioner and Team Teach trained. She holds her UKCC Level 2, Child Protection and Level 5 qualification in Understanding Children's Behaviour, and has completed training in Working with Hard to Reach and Resistant Clients, Theraplay, and Positive Play Training.

   Rachel Wiles - Coach and Northants Centre Co-Ordinator

Rachel is a registered City & Guilds coach and assessor. She specialises in City & Guilds group programmes, offering support and guidance to our young people; developing their interpersonal skills, confidence and communication skills using the equine facilitated approach. Rachel is the Acorn Centre Co-ordinator, managing the daily running of the centre and is our Deputy Safeguarding Lead. She holds her UK Coaching Certificate Level 2, and a Level 2 in Health & Safety in the Workplace. Rachel regularly competes her horses in 3 day events and enjoys walking her Border terrier dog.

Emma Leckie - Coach

Emma is a trained counsellor and psychotherapist, working with horses to facilitate psychotherapy. An experienced equine coach, Emma works with our young people to bring about change to their behaviour and attitudes through experiential learning. Emma is a registered City and Guilds coach and assessor; holds an Msc Distinction in Equine Business Management, a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and is currently studying for an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Emma has a strong personal interest in the positive effects animals have on our lives and in animal welfare.

   Emma Watson - Coach

Emma is an experienced equine facilitator who works with our high tariff young people on 1 to 1 basis and small group programmes. Emma is a registered City & Guilds coach who has vast experience in working with young people with emotional and behavioural issues supporting them to build their confidence and social skills. Amongst her achievements, Emma has gained significant success working with a selective mute young person, supporting her through a City & Guilds Diploma. Emma holds her UKCC Level 2 and regularly coaches the Pony Club.

Karl Warden - Coach

Karl has many years' experience working with vulnerable young people and adults. He is an experienced coach working with our high tariff young people on a 1 to 1 basis, offering alternative methods of engagement including woodworking, horticulture and environmental skills. Karl is totally unflappable and is highly effective in supporting our young people to develop strategies to manage challenging situations. Karl holds an HND in Documentary Photography, along with Child Protection, Mental Health Awareness, and Peer Mentoring qualifications.

   Jo Rhodes - Coach

Having worked for many years' in a secondary school, Jo has extensive experience working with small groups, offering support to young people with behavioural issues and learning difficulties to build confidence and social skills. Jo is an experienced and committed coach, working with our high tariff young people coaching 1 to 1's and small groups with a sympathetic and thorough approach. She is a registered City & Guilds coach; holds her British Horse Society Assistant Instructor qualification and is the Chief Instructor at a local Pony Club.

Natasha Williamson - Coach

Natasha is a trained psychologist who has over 20 years of experience working with individuals with mental health issues. Natasha is a committed coach, who specialises in working with our Post 16 high tariff 1 to 1’s on bespoke programmes. She is a registered City & Guilds coach who, through gentle nurturing, offers support and guidance to build confidence, self-esteem and the young peoples’ academic achievements.  In her spare time, Natasha loves to ride and regularly volunteers with the Riding for the Disabled Association.  She also enjoys travelling and yoga.

Claire Smith - Coach

Claire is a registered City & Guilds coach who specialises in working with small groups. An organised, efficient and productive member of the team, Claire has a compassionate approach to working with young people from a variety of backgrounds. Claire is an experienced horsewoman, holding her Pony Club grade B qualification. In her spare time, Claire likes to spend time with her family and is a keen cook.

Jacquie Ryan - Coach

Jacquie is an experienced equestrian. A registered City & Guilds coach, she is an enthusiastic member of the team who works across all client age groups on both 1 to 1 sessions and small groups. Jacquie brings a wealth of experience in working with young people in outdoor learning environments, supporting and encouraging them to achieve their goals. Jacquie holds a first class degree in Equine Science, and her City & Guilds Level 2 in Health and Safety with Horses. In her spare time she rides for a professional stunt company and enjoys anything adventurous, including snowboarding and skydiving.

Lisa Hobbs - Coach

Lisa is a highly experienced senior level equestrian, whose specialism is group work using the Seeds of Change approach. A City & Guilds registered coach and assessor, Lisa works across all client age groups and brings inspirational skills in communicating the behaviour of horses and relating this back to human behaviour. Lisa holds her UKCC Level 2 and her British Horse Society Assistant Instructor qualification. Lisa likes to walk her boarder terrier dog and enjoys competing in dressage competitions in her spare time.

Charlie Brown – Assistant Coach

Charlie specialises in working with small groups and KS2/3 children, offering support and guidance using the equine facilitated approach. Charlie is an empathetic coach who brings great compassion and communication skills with children of all ages. Charlie holds his BHS Stage One, NVQ Horse Management Level 2, and is working towards his NVQ Horse Management Level 3. He runs the Pony Club at the Acorn Centre, and likes to spend time with his dog and watching movies.

Sam Tompkins – Assistant Coach

Sam is an experienced equestrian whose specialism is group work using the Seeds of Change approach. A passionate and committed member of the team, Sam has comprehensive awareness and experience of a range of mental health disorders, plus experience of working in early years’ education. Sam holds her Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Workforce, and has a strong personal interest in all equine therapies and practices.

Tracy Todd - Accounts & HR

Tracy is a member of the Institute of Certified Book Keepers at Associate grade and is a qualified and experienced book keeper. Tracy is responsible for administering the accounts, invoicing, Payroll and advising on all HR matters at the Seeds of Change. A classic car enthusiast, Tracy owns a Caterham 7 which has appeared on the front cover of the clubs Lowflying magazine, and is a member of the Lotus Seven Club. Tracy enjoys riding her off road quad bike and has recently been on a hovercraft experience day and more recently a Segway rally racing experience.

Rebecca Ruffhead - Administrator

Rebecca is the Seeds of Change administrator, supporting the Directors and coaches with all administration and course set up. Rebecca is highly organised and efficient; being the central point of contact for organisations requiring attendance data or information concerning course set up. Rebecca oversees and maintains our IT infrastructure, and is responsible for all course logistics. She is the City & Guilds administrator, which involves student registrations, general administration and co-ordinating external visits. In her spare time Rebecca enjoys keeping fit, reading, music and spending time with her family.
