Business Development in Oxford

Part time, term time permenant contract. (6-10 Hours per week plus)

This is a mainly  field based job role, reporting directly to the Seeds of Change Directors. The role involves identifying new business in Oxford and the surrounding areas. Promoting The Seeds of Change to schools, Youth Offending Services, Connexions, Hubs and other such organisations especially to those dealing with either disenaged or NEET young people. 

 Main Duties

  • To liaise with the Seeds of Change marketing and admin staff to identify potential business opportunities in Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.
  • To co-ordinate marketing materials and literature and to follow these up as appropriate with a view to securing business.
  • To record details of leads and activities carried out.
  • To suggest ways of promoting or advertising company programmes or activities in the region.
  • To work in partnership with other staff members to ensure that the quality / ethos and reputation of the company are upheld at all times.

  • Ability to work alone.

 Knowledge

  • A sound understanding of the Education system
  • A thorough understanding of the Seeds of Change Facilitated Learning approach and course content.
  • An understanding of the broader commercial and legal requirements of the business.
