We have just completed a KS3 Re-engagement Programme in Bedfordshire and have received some great feedback from the Commissioner for Alternative Provision.

We are an alternative provision free school academy based in Bedfordshire.  We opened in September 2013 and inherited some challenging pupils from the local Pupil Referral Unit and also have continuous referrals coming in from schools across the county.  We use various external providers to work with some of our challenging and vulnerable students and have used The Seeds of Change for over a year now and can't be happier with their service.

The KS3 Re-engagement programme was a huge success for our 5 young people who had poor social skills and some who were disengaged from education.  Throughout the 6 sessions there was a significant change in all of the students who began to display signs of understanding the behaviours which affect them in their everyday life, the students are now better equipped to form social interactions and engagement in education.  The staff have played a significant part in the success of our young people and the group will now embark on a Level 1 qualification in Land Based (equine) studies.  We are hoping to use The Seeds of Change for a very long time.
