Developing Talented Leaders

Organisations recognise that talented leaders will enable their business to stay focused and on track, and to achieve its goals, success and excellence.

At the Seeds of Change we understand that academic preparation is essential in shaping the future for young people. We also understand that in order to truly succeed in the future, academic education forms only part of the transition to a successful career.

Developing leadership skills earlier means young people can hit the ground running and be higher performers on entering the world of work. Building and maintaining relationships through collaboration, trust and respect, enabling and inspiring others, and having courage and motivation are all essential leadership skills and attitudes.

A high degree of emotional intelligence is even more important for future leaders - Dr Carl Jung, the eminent Swiss psychologist recognised this when he said "Every advance, every conceptual achievement of mankind has been connected with an advance in self awareness"
